马尔库塞从社会批判的角度对资本主义社会的生态问题进行了揭露和批判,提出了自然解放的重要思想,并对生态问题的根源和出路作了积极探讨。在他看来,科技异化是资本主义社会生态问题的直接根源,并由此提出具体的解决方案,即新技术观和建立一个"生存缓和"社会。马尔库塞的思想不仅对西方生态学马克思主义的形成作出了决定性贡献,而且对于我们当前解决生态危机,实施可持续发展也具有重要启迪。

Marcuse exposed and criticized ecological issues in capitalist society from the perspective of social critics,put forward his main idea of libernation of nature and explored the roots and way out of ecological issues actively.As for the ecological issues in capitalist society,he regarded the alienation of science and technology as the direct root and proposed corresponding solution,that is,the conception of new technology and the establishment of a society with pacification of existence.Marcuse's ideas not only had made the great contributions to ecological Marxism,but also offer us much enlightenment in solving the ecological crisis and achieving sustainable development.
